Bots performs on the first day of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, Calif., on Friday, April 11, 2014.

The Bots made their debut at the Rave on March 28 as part of a tour with the Preatures and Blood Band. Mikaiah Lei and Anaiah Lei are brothers by day and bandmates by night. They hail from Los Angeles and perform indie rock/garage punk music. Mikaiah is the lead vocalist, guitarist, and bassist, and Anaiah plays the drums, percussions and is backup vocal. The Bots are on tour to promote their debut full-length album “Pink Palms,” which was released in October 2014.
The Bots music is a unique blend of rock and indie. Their music rocks out and then becomes mellow and acoustic at times. The brothers themselves are laid back, dancing to their own music, and are goofy too. Mikaiah, 21, and Anaiah, 18, seem like the kind of guys you could have a good time with. They even posed with the dinosaurs at the Milwaukee Public Museum, encouraging fans to come to the show.
The brothers have been performing and recording together since they were 15 and 12 respectively.
They have self-released three albums and one EP through FADER label before releasing their first full-length album via FADER label.
The brothers would love to perform at Summerfest. If you missed the concert at the Rave, catch their Fox 6 Studio A appearance at fox6now.com.
