Is your driver’s license suspended or revoked? Are you 18 years of age? Do you live in Milwaukee County? If you answered yes to these questions, visit the Center for Driver’s License Recovery and Employability (CDLRE) on the 8th floor of Foundation Hall at the Downtown Milwaukee campus. Understanding that a valid driver’s license is necessary to obtain and retain most jobs, the CDLRE provides free case management and legal services to qualified individuals with a suspended or revoked Wisconsin license.

Qualifications for Admission:

Wisconsin Class D driver’s license must be suspended or revoked.

No current OWI charges or OWI-related suspensions/revocations.

If no valid license in the past 8 years, must have completed the DMV written test within the past 12 months.

Must be a Milwaukee County resident of at least 18 years of age.

Must meet 200% of the federal poverty level.

Former clients of the program may not be readmitted.

To check your Wisconsin driver’s license status to verify whether it is suspended or revoked, visit https://trust.dot.state.wi.us/orsm/customerSearchPage.do or call the DOT directly at (608)-266-2261.
