MATC Times

As editor-in-chief I feel a binding obligation not only to the staffers at the MATC Times, but to all students of MATC and residents of Milwaukee.  My goal at the MATC Times is to create a strong bond between our staff and the city were are covering.  The most important quality a member of the times can have is a strong sense of engagement.  In today’s news cycle it is imperative that we gets stories from the newsroom to our readers in an effective and responsible manner. At times my passion and intensity can be overbearing but I refer to Bob Woodward who said “the most important part of journalism is love” and the bottom line is: I love what I do.  We have a great opportunity at the Times to make a difference in the city we are covering. As the editor-in-chief I am always looking for ways to improve our paper.  I am very open to new ideas, so I encourage anyway interested in joining the newspaper to take advantage of our open door policy. We are located in room m240a so feel free to stop by! If no one is in the office feel free to contact me via email at [email protected] or by phone at (414)839-4211.
