Alex Kandel, lead singer of Sleeper Agent, an alternative rock band, and singer-guitarist Tony Smith perform the single “Waves” off their new album.

Sleeper Agent hit Milwaukee for the second time. This time they were promoting their sophomore album, “About Last Night.”  The band performed “Waves,” a single off their new album, as well as songs from their first album, “Celabrasion.” Sleeper Agent is a sextet, made up of singer-guitarist Tony Smith, female singer Alex Kandel, drummer Justin Wilson, bassist Lee Williams, keyboardist Scott Gardner, and guitarist Josh Martin. The concert was held at the RAVE on April 11.
Drummer Wilson had some difficulties as his foot pedal kept breaking and the band borrowed a foot pedal from another band to keep on playing.
The crowd was small, but intimate, maybe including 40 people. The crowd included a few children, who celebrated their first concert ever. The band graciously recognized the kids.
After the concert, singer Kandel and keyboardist Gardner greeted fans. They signed autographs and took pictures with everyone. It was just the right scene to end an intimate alternative rock evening.
