Preview – 2022 Spring Graduation Issue
MATCs Director of Public Safety, Aisha Barkow, provides six tips that may help you avoid becoming a victim of auto theft. Nearly 2,500 cars have been stolen in the City so far this year. Last month Milwaukee Police Department Captain James Campbell referred to the increase in automobile break-ins and thefts as an epidemic. Car brands Kia and Hyundai continue to be the car of choice for thieves, however, Barkows theft preventive tips are aimed at helping all car owners. Print edition preview – Spring 2022 Graduation Issue
Thirteen artists were selected for the Colleges 2022 Community Arts Collection including photography instructor John Glembin. His proposal for the collection consists of creating photographs of his students using the wet-plate collodion process. A technique created in 1851 that requires the use of chemicals, glass plates and a darkroom. The works of all artists selected for 2022 will be unveiled in the Fall. Read more about Glembin and the other artists selected for the Community Arts Collection in the upcoming print edition of the MATC Times.

Special Edition – The Graduate’s Perspective
I think I would I take it, I havent done much research as to side effects or whats in it but I have friends in the medical field and theyve all taken it. My mother recently overcame breast cancer and my grandma has been diagnosed with lung cancer so I think it would put my family at ease, and if I hopefully get into the firefighting field I would have to get it anyways. So I think it would help give my parents and family peace of mind for my safety, and make it less worrisome for me especially with dealing with patients in the future. Overall I think it would be more beneficial to take it now more than to not. Update: It depends on the purpose of the booster shot. If its in relation to the original code for the virus probably not as I dont see the point. If its for the Delta variant Id be more likely. -Nicholas Gordon Fire Protection Services

Sometimes instead of watching the news I will go online and read it instead. If I see the MATC Times on campus I’ll pick it up and read it. I used to work at the downtown campus and we had a Times stand right outside our office so I would read it whenever it came out.
