The MVAS campus became involved with training students, along with assistance from the U.S. Department of Defense for WWII. Through a special program in 1943, school instructors also worked as trainers in war production plants. MVAS (MATC) actively placed instructors in over 27 war plants. The war effort seriously tested the capacity of our school since the need for workers and goods was a priority to win the war.
