It has been a soggy start to the 2013 MATC Stormer baseball season; the first nine games were cancelled and several more have been postponed due to inclement weather.
This hasn’t dampened the spirit of the players, they are eager and excited to play. They prefer to practice outdoors but they have been able to keep up their skills by practicing at a nearby indoor facility.
On April 7, in a double header against Joliet Junior College Wolves, Joshua Brock pitched during the team’s first win (5-2) of the season. The coordinated efforts of first baseman Ryan Ruediger and second baseman Nathan Schmidt shut down the Joliet offensive with their accurate double play action.
All home games are played at the Oak Creek Campus. Come and support your team.
