The season started off in sunny Cocoa Beach, Florida, and with it going well the team has moved into a new conference (N4C). This means that their schedule will be much tougher than in past years. The players have grown to set a good foundation for next year.According to Frank Cimorelli, Head Baseball Coach, his two best players are outfielders Nick Heppe and Tyler Sadowske; both are sophomores who will move on to play at four-year schools in either Division 1 or 2.
He goes on to say, “We expect the players to go to class and work hard while at practice and games. (There) are no excuses for being lazy in the classroom or on the field.”
Anyone interested in trying out for the team may attend the fall practice beginning in early September. It will run for six weeks. Games and practices are held at the Oak Creek Campus.
