As a celebrated author, rudimentalist and historian, John S. Pratt was elected to the Percussive Arts Society Hall of Fame and World Drum Corps Hall of Fame as well as being a former instructor and arranger at West Point. He was inducted as an N.A.R.D. member in 1949, and was the founder of the International Association of Traditional Drummers.
He will also be instructing a master class on September 12, 2008, at the MATC Downtown Milwaukee Campus.
