Danielle L. Rogers, an Early Childhood Education major, has been selected as MATC’s State Ambassador for 2008.For the past 15 years, one student from each of Wisconsin’s 16 Technical College Districts wins this prestigious honor as a State Ambassador for the Wisconsin Technical College System.
It is not an easy award to win. Competition is fierce among each district’s top academic achievers, and the rigorous criteria includes a high grade-point average, outstanding leadership qualities, strong character, high goals, self-confidence, enthusiasm, and a good understanding of what technical education can do for one’s future.
Eligible recipients will receive a college scholarship, college and state recognition, and an invitation to the State Ambassador/President’s Awards recognition banquet. Scholarships are provided by the MATC foundation.
Danielle was selected as State Ambassador from a pool of three top MATC students that included:

* Mark Hudson, Registered Nursing
