Interior Design students as well as Carpentry students worked diligently, preparing for the NARI Home Improvement Show opening held February 11-14 at the Wisconsin Expo Center within the State Fair Grounds. The theme of the Interior Design program students’ area consisted of a tropical bamboo motif featuring a candle-lighted metal grading in front of a fireplace.
Carpentry students worked up to deadline to make sure their home building project was completed before opening day. Three other schools also produced a playhouse for NARI, which will be auctioned at a later date. MATC Carpentry program students produced a yellow house with white interior walls on a grassy floor.
