A dragon dance delighted onlookers during the 2nd Annual Asian Festival, Saturday, September 20. The festival took place between 35th and 41st Streets on National Avenue. The festival is a joint effort between Layton Boulevard West Neighbors Association and Silver City Main Street. Attendance was estimated at over 3,000. Committee members from the original Asian Moon Festival also helped organize the event. Asian food specialities, dancing, martial arts, a parade and a fashion show were featured.
