After these long winter months, many students could use a pick-me-up. They could use something fun and highly entertaining to watch and/or participate in. Luckily, a famed hypnotist will be gracing MATC’s West Campus with his presence on March 30 in the cafeteria at approximately 12 p.m.
Jim Wand has been performing hypnotisms at MATC for approximately 3 years now with wonderful results. He is known for hypnotizing willing students on stage and making them do fun, crazy things. In the past he has drawn up such a crowd that the audience overflowed into the hallways due to the lack of room in the cafeteria.
“He’s great entertainment,” said Travis Lilach, President of West Campus Student Government, “it’s really amazing to see. However, Wand does not only do fun, crowd pleasing events. He is also known for doing smaller group hypnotisms for things like helping students focus on school or even quit smoking.”
Thanks to performers like Wand, MATC continues to become a more vibrant place
to learn.
