MATC landed points early on in the game providing a 3 to 1 win over (MATC) Madison Area Technical College.Jets arriving at the neighboring Madison airport across the street couldn’t stop the excitement of the Stormers early scoring against Madison Tech in Madison, Wis., Saturday October 4.
Early in the game Alex Hively, #14 of the Stormers, pushed hard to score the first two points of the game. It became obvious at that point the Stormers had Madison Tech on the run. Madison Tech came back scoring one point, which became their only and final hope in the game.
Madison Tech crashed and burned in the second half as Stormers #21, Francis Vingo, increased the thrust and scored another goal. Madison Tech at that point seemed to panic, with Madison’s coach exchanging words with the Stormers’ coach regarding use of a ball in play.
