Marketing graduate Kyle Brightsman prepared for success
Getting to the next level, reaching goals, and learning new material motivated MATC graduate
Brightsman set his bar this high once he found a major that checked off creativity, learning new material, and having teachers go above and beyond to make
sure the students learn as much hands-on as they could. Aside from completing his studies, Brightsman worked at job coaching, preparing students
to get to where they wanted go in employment and education.
In addition, he was a paid student brand ambassador for the Milwaukee Bucks’ student rush program. Student brand ambassadors represent the team on
campus, among their duties helping get local college students discounted home-game tickets deals to the Milwaukee Bucks games. Students do this by visiting http://www.nba.com/bucks/tickets/studentrush and entering their name, email and phone number to start receiving notifications.
Being a student can be stressful. Brightsman wants all incoming and current MATC students to remember to balance their time. To relieve stress, Brightsman said he reads a book or article about his major. He makes sure nothing stops him from achieving his number one goal.
Brightsman has worked his way up. He will be leaving MATC with a full-time job at the Foxconn technology group, an electronics contract manufacturing
company. For Brightsman, completing his associate’s degree in marketing at MATC was the means to get there – and beyond.
