If you’ve spent time on a college campus, you’re likely aware that it is one of the best opportunities for students to find their passions. Not only can they explore their interests and hobbies, but personal development is woven into every interaction. The chance to network with colleagues, employers, and change-makers seems almost limitless.
College life at MATC is buzzing with opportunities for students to engage in campus activities. Whether you’re interested in diving into new games or participating in high energy Smash tournaments with the MATC Game Club or delving into strategy with the Chess Club, there’s something for everyone. From the Educators Club and Student Government, to the powerful voices of Latinix Unidos, the Asian Student Association and Black Student Union—our campus is a vibrant mix of diverse opportunities.
With an open invite to all MATC Students, getting involved is more than an opportunity to join; it’s a chance to lead. It goes beyond club participation; it’s an opportunity for every student to step into a leadership role. Across campus, it is easy to find students who have tapped into their leadership potential. They accepted the invitation to discover the leader within themselves and are shaping the pulse of campus life. Learn about some of the leaders making waves at MATC, how we can support our leaders, and what actions they can take to maximize their impact in these stories: the Men of Color Initiative, the Black Student Union, the Rohingya Student Association, and MATC Game Club.
