Big Air for Care, an annual ski and snowboarding competition, drew big crowds to Little Switzerland Ski Hill in Slinger, WI. On a Saturday night in mid-February, skiers and snowboarders flashed their skills to an appreciative crowd. The event had live music, raffles and a silent auction.
This year’s event was dedicated to supporting local families struggling with Angelman Syndrome (AMS). AMS is a rare and complex genetic disorder that impacts brain development. Benny Thurin is a 3-year-old living in Southeastern Wisconsin, who has this disease. You can watch a video of Benny and his parents here.
