MPS students visit MATC and hear about some of the career options available to them.

Around 3,500 MPS students in 10th grade are visiting MATC’s four campuses for an in-person career exploration day on Thursday, March 14. There’s a morning session for students to attend from 9:30 a.m.-11 a.m. or an afternoon session from 12 p.m.-1:30 p.m.

While the MATC Times would love to welcome you, several of our staff members are in New York for the College Media Association conference. We left on Wednesday and will return on Sunday, March 17. We hope you take the time to pick up an issue of the MATC Times that is located in newspaper racks on all our campuses.

If you visit the Downtown Milwaukee Campus, you can find a newspaper rack and banner identifying our award-winning newspaper outside our office on the second floor of the Main Building, in room 240.

Again, we are sorry we missed you, but hey if you decide to come to MATC, you can be part of the Times. We have amazing opportunities for writers, photographers, illustrators, graphic designers and others to showcase their talents in our paper.

Thanks for taking the time to check out MATC!
