America is an amazing country! Emigrants from all over the world created their own communities in it. Without leaving the city you live in, you can feel like a tourist in different countries. Milwaukee hosts national festivals all summer long on the shores of Lake Michigan. In mid-June, arriving in the center, you could find yourself in Poland. Polish language, music, national costumes, dancing, amber and of course Polish cuisine take center stage at Polish Fest!
Check out some photos to get a glimpse of this annual event at Maier Festival Park. It is one of the largest Polish-heritage gatherings in the U.S.
