The importance of organ transplants in the African American community is the focus in the Create Gallery at MATC’s Downtown Campus. The exhibition is titled “Lifeline: The Ultimate Bond.”
The exhibit features members of the Divine Nine. This is a nickname for the nine historically Black Greek-letter organizations that form the National Pan-Hellenic Council, who have had organ transplants and are sharing their experiences.
One organ donor has the potential to save eight lives.
