Black Voters Matter went on a week-long tour to encourage people to come out and vote early. On their second stop, they visited MATC and partnered with the “Tastes of MATC” Food Truck. They shared with the school community and reminded them to vote.
Steak and chicken tacos, small snacks, and flavored ice cream were on the menu during this laid back event. Faculty and students enjoyed a game of Connect Four as music artists like SZA and Travis Scott played in the background.
Black Voters Matter is an organization that stands for racial justice. They handed out literature to remind students of deadlines for the first day of voting, which was October 22.
