MATC’s Downtown Campus Food Pantry has moved to an appointment only system. Gone are the days of hour-long waits and empty shelves.
Student Resource Specialist Nadia Ramirez said they switched to an appointment only system “to improve customer service.” She said you can “expect to see more cohesiveness and a more relaxed, organized experience.”
With how busy the pantry was, it was impossible for staff to stock the shelves fast enough to keep up with demand. We look forward to the new appointment only system that will improve the program’s efficiency.
