Milwaukee Area Technical College campuses and facilities are closing at 3 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, due to weather.
Online, online-virtual, blended and hybrid classes that start at or after this time will continue. No other classes scheduled at or after this time will be held. Students can check their class type by visiting selfservice.matc.edu and choosing “Student Planning.”
No services will be available after 3 p.m. in-person or virtually; this includes no child care, food service, libraries and tutoring/academic support. Students in online classes that continue can ask the Online Learning team for Blackboard support.
Employees are excused at 3 p.m. except previously-designated essential personnel and those who teach online, online-virtual, blended and hybrid classes.
College leadership takes closing the college seriously, and we make closing decisions considering the safety and security of all students and employees.
