MATC’s CareerHub shuttled students to a career fair this week. The Wisconsin Private Colleges Career Consortium (WIPCCC) Career Expo was held on Tuesday at the 3rd Street Market Hall. This expo consisted of 100+ companies seeking to hire students, recent grads and alumni across the city. Students were encouraged to wear business attire and to get a free professional headshot. This was not only a great opportunity for students to put themselves out there to employers but to also network with each other!
Did you miss the WIPCCC Career Expo? Do not fret, there is another career fair and networking opportunity for students next month. On March 5, the CareerHub will be hosting the Diversity Career Fair at the MATC Downtown Campus, room M605 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Employers that represent all pathways will be ready to recruit and hire students and alumni. Be sure to dress for a good first impression and bring a copy of your resume!
