Milwaukee’s freshest creatives display their work as they finish the semester.
MATC is hosting “Create the Spark” today, Thursday, May 8 at 4 p.m., to recognize and celebrate the creativity of students in its Creative Arts, Design and Media Academic and Career Pathway.
MATC students who are within the pathway will showcase their work in an open house style event where attendees can view and interact with students and their portfolio work. Attendees can hear live and recorded music produced by the students, see presentations, taste culinary and baking creations, and tour some of MATC’s most interactive student labs and unique facilities in this one-of-a-kind experience.
This event springboards students’ transition into the workforce. Employers seeking graduates in the arts are encouraged to attend. Digital portfolio resources and other information will be available after the event.
The 12 Participating Programs are: Animation, Audio Production, Baking and Pastry Arts, Computer Simulation and Gaming, Culinary Arts, Digital Content Creation, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Music Occupations, Photography, Television and Video Production, and Web & Digital Media Design.
