Shalom Wildlife Sanctuary has been called the “Crown jewel of Wisconsin zoos” by the public. Fall is a great time to visit the 100 acres of land filled with wildlife. From foxes to zebras, there are plenty of animals to see.
It’s a perfect family fall activity located about an hour from Milwaukee County in West Bend. They are open all days of the week, rain or shine from 9 a.m. – 5 pm. Admission is $16 for adults and $11 for children. Time and price are subject to change over the seasons, please check their website for more information.
Visitors are welcome to walk the grounds, but also have the option of renting golf carts at the entrance for more accessibility. They are available at the entrance.
