The MATC boys basketball team broke the one hundred mark in their game against Fox Valley Tech on Nov 3. Fox Valley must have felt as though they had been run over by a bus. For every point they managed to score, MATC scored two.

Kyan Pleasant alone scored 18 points followed closely by Deonta Williams. The crowd went wild every time the ball went through the hoop. Asked how the Stormers were able to pull off such a win, Stormers Guard, Dionne Triggs said elliptically, “the team played good defense and played together as a team.”

The Stormers never let up. Even in the second half, they had as much energy as they did in the first half. “We were amped and ready to go to and my team put us in a good position to win” said Evan Runkel, Stormers Guard/Forward. The Stormers wowed everyone by their enthusiasm and relentless effort to win.Fox Valley never had a chance going up against the Stormers.

The Stormers are now 2-0 on the season, hopefully they can carry this momentum into their upcoming games and improve on what has already been a fantastic start.
