It stars a host of thespians you probably never heard of except for Syler from the TV series Heroes (one of my uber fav shows of all time). I had some serious misgivings about this film. I liked seeing the characters as youngins to be sure. I thought the Uhura/Spock thing was twisted, but groovy.
I loved the effects, they were top notch. However, I hated the ending with a passion!
I won’t give it away, but people, fix the time line, would ya! As for a date night choice, I think it is up to whom you are dating. Only real sci-fi or Trek fans will dig it.
