Two colleagues were in tears as the money changed hands.
“It’s a big something. It’s going to be a big help,” Michaelle Novocin said. On February 11, Fox 6 came to the Oak Creek Campus to surprise the two women with their “Pass It On” segment.
Novocin works at Oak Creek’s library, and co-worker Jenn Medved picked her to “Pass It On.”
“She’s just a really kind person in terms of what she does for other people and I thought she could use a little boost,” Medved said to Fox news reporter Nicole Koglin.
Novocin works at MATC during the day, and waitresses at night.
She is helping her son, who is unemployed, and takes care of her granddaughter, both of whom live with her.
Her fiance has been battling major health issues, and she had recent car troubles. Plus, she is planning for a June wedding.
This money was well needed. The Fox 6 “Pass It On” segment has people nominate someone they know who could use $300.
Then, they surprise the nominator with the $300, and they must quickly pass it on to the person they nominated.
