Does anybody know what an Account Management Center machine is? Every MATC campus has one and they work something like an ATM.You can deposit money to your MATC Campus Card with them.
These funds can be used for purchases at all of the campus’ vending machines and food courts. You can’t get cash out, however.
Why would you want to do this? Mostly because you don’t have to carry cash with you to make your snack and meal purchases.
When you get your financial aid check, you can deposit some of the money to your card and it’s there when you need it.
If not that, how about on Mondays. You deposit your weekly lunch budget to your card and then you don’t worry about it for the rest of the week. When you buy lunch, just swipe your card.
It’s easy, convenient and besides that, the food service areas don’t accept debit or credit cards.
So, if you’re short of cash and you’ve deposited money to your Campus Card, you’ve nothing to worry about. All you need to do is follow the easy to read instructions right on the screen.
Where are the machines? At the Downtown Milwaukee Campus, it’s just outside the Grab ‘n’ Go on the third floor of the S Building.
At Mequon and Oak Creek, they are in the lower-level atriums. At the West Allis Campus it is located near Room 120.
Just remember, you can only deposit cash and check your balance. You can’t get cash from the machine.
For more details, you can stop by your Campus Card office and pick up a brochure.
