Women’s basketball Head Coach Jeff Lorenz has been named the North Central College Conference (N4C) Coach of the Year for the second consecutive year.
The Stormers finished up regular season play with 22 wins and eight losses. Their conference record was a remarkable 12 wins and two losses. The team was named Conference Co-Champion after their Feb. 21 victory over Joliet Junior College and celebrated two postseason victories over College of DuPage and Madison College before falling to perennial foes Rock Valley College in the NJCAA Region IV Championship.
Lorenz led the team to perfection in front of home crowds, amassing a 15-0 record for games played at Alverno College. It was also the second consecutive year that the team finished with a total of more than 20 victories.
