College welcomes students, staff and faculty with free food

Students, staff and faculty were treated to free chicken wings or chicpea wrap, coleslaw, popcorn, desserts and snow cones while being welcomed to the 2016-17 school year.
On Wednesday, August 31, MATC Office of Student Life held a “Welcome Students Event” at each campus from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This event had complimentary food that included chicken wings, coleslaw, popcorn, desserts, and snow cones.
There was music, a raffle for Fit Bits and other MATC merchandise. The event was attended by MATC president, Dr. Vicki Martin, students, faculty, security and support staff.
A fun time was had by all who attended.
