Vice President of the Black Student Union, Gabrielle Armon-Wickers, and many other inspiring women, had a panel discussion on Wednesday based on the novel, “I’m not yelling” A Black Woman’s Guide to Navigating the Workplace by Elizabeth Leiba.
The event, celebrating Women’s History Month, focused on the experiences and strategies of Black business-women in corporate America and Higher Education.
The women discussed various topics about creating a meaning, impactful, catalyst for positive change. They discussed the importance of understanding how to navigate these spaces. It’s all about making sure women win at every level. They recommended advocating for yourself and finding your system.
