Three MATC students received financial awards from the African American Network (AAN) in the Veterans Center at the Downtown Milwaukee Campus. The students honored are: Jurnee Fisher, Devin Hayden and Gabrielle Armon-Wickers.

The AAN provides financial awards to African American MATC students who are striving to complete their education. The checks these students received yesterday are meant to support them and celebrate their accomplishments at MATC.

AAN executive council member and MATC employee Cheryl Smith organized the event and gave a speech to congratulate the students on their achievements and their ability to be resilient through life’s ups and downs.
