In the eighth game of the volleyball season, the Stormers took a tough loss to opponents from College of DuPage. The women’s volleyball team lost the first two matches 14-25, but came back to win a hard fought third match 25-17, only to fall to their demise in the fourth match 18-25. Head Coach Brian Misslich said, “They could have rolled over in the third, but they didn’t and it showed that they are hard charging and aggressive players.”
With a quarter of the season completed, the Stormers, co-captained by Ellie DuJardin and Alyssa Edwards, are well on their way to improving. Most of the team is new, with Missy Buetow and Ka Thao as the only returning players.
