Student Success Fair encourages student success

All four MATC campuses took part in the Student Success Fair from Monday, Sept. 15 through Friday, Sept. 19.
Tables were set up with pamphlets and printouts regarding services students can receive to assist them in both their educational and personal lives. Representatives were on hand to discuss with students the resources that are available at MATC.
The programs Tutoring Services, Academic Support, Multicultural Student Services, and Student Accommodation Services were all available to introduce their services to students who visited. Students were also able to gain an understanding about Retention Alert, a communication tool designed to connect students with personalized resources to keep them on track.
The fair took place for several hours each day, including early evening hours. The cafeterias of the Oak Creek and Mequon campuses were home to the Student Success Fair. At the Downtown Milwaukee campus it was on the 2nd floor S-Building atrium and at West Allis it was located across from Room 120.
