Veronika Greco, Mequon Campus Editor
Greetings! My name is Veronika Greco and I am the new editor for the Mequon campus. I started MATC in 2012 and will graduate in May 2013. I joined the Times with absolutely no experience, other than enjoying writing, and Jim Nance and the staff taught me the who, what, where, when and why of writing. Being an older student, I was at first intimidated, but quickly gained confidence from all the help and feedback I received.
Every edition is a learning experience, and I had no idea about all the behind the scenes people involved in producing a paper. They humbly serve with no seeking of glory and are an inspiration to me.
Managing family (my husband and 6 kids), school, and extra -curricular activities will be quite challenging this year, but working on the Times is well worth my time. I enjoy talking to students and getting their views on matters that are important to them and also speaking with faculty to get inside information of the “goings on” at MATC.
I am looking forward to being the liaison for the Mequon campus to get out stories that are important to you – the students. The Times is a very special group who are all differently gifted in their own roles, and I am thrilled to be a part of the team.
