Save a Life Simulator
Final Focus
Over 300 students from all of the MATC campuses took part in a texting and driving simulator. The computer-operated simulator sends texts to the driver to demonstrate how dangerous it is to text and drive. After the simulation, students signed pledges to no longer text and drive. Kramer Entertainment offers their service to alert our students at the various campuses in knowing the importance of being responsible behind the wheel. Wisconsin has two laws against drivers being distracted: Primary laws – Ban on texting while driving and a ban on using cell phones (handheld or hands-free) for novice drives effective 11/1/12. Don’t risk your life or the lives of others. Don’t drive inTEXTicated.
