Patrick Johnson, Times Photo Editor
Being a student is not the easiest thing in life but it is rewarding in the friendships that you make, the things you learn, and the experience. I originally attend MATC in the spring of 1985 studying “Police Science”, which led to a career in law enforcement with the Milwaukee Police Department, which lasted for thirty-one years. I had a desire to learn photography but with work and family I couldn’t find the time, but before retiring I returned to MATC to pursue the dream. I am currently the Photo Editor and photographer on the schools paper. My previous experience I can draw upon in leadership roles, responsibilities with the deadlines, and I am willing to help others. I am learning that there is more to photojournalism and I will value my experience here at MATC.
