If you want to give to others during the holiday season, here are a couple of opportunities for you to help at MATC.
The Community and Human Services Pathway is hosting a Winter Accessories Drive. They are accepting donations of new or gently used hats, gloves, scarves and other cold weather gear Monday, November 27 to Friday, December 15.
Donations can be dropped off at the Downtown Milwaukee Campus, Room T200; Oak Creek Campus, Room A121; West Allis Campus, Room A103; Mequon Campus, Room A108. All items will be donated to the children at Hawthorne Elementary School in Milwaukee.
There is also a Student Holiday Hygiene Drive Friday, December 1 to Wednesday, December 20. Items needed include:
- Soap/Body Wash/Dish Soap
- Shampoo/Conditioner
- Toothpaste, Toothbrush and Dental Floss
- Hand/Body Lotion
- Lip Balm
- Hand Sanitizer
- Feminine Sanitary Products
- Facial Tissues
- Washcloth/Baby Wipes
- Deodorant Diapers (any size accepted)
Drop off donations at the Student Life Food Pantries at all MATC locations. (Information on Food Pantry locations and hours can be found on our FAQ page.) This drive is sponsored by the Interfaith and Belief Employee Affinity Group and Community and Administrative Professionals Affinity Groups.
