Monte Driscoll, Times Editor-in-Chief

It is a sincere privilege to serve as Editor-in-Chief of this newspaper. When I started as a staff reporter with the Times, it was with the goal of more deeply immersing myself in the MATC community and finding out what makes this place tick. The opportunity to do just that has presented itself in great abundance. The cultural institution that is MATC never ceases to surprise me with the depth of character of its leaders, past and present. I’m honored to have the chance to bring you their stories in the capacity that has been bestowed upon me.

I hope readers enjoy this paper as much I enjoy doing the work required to put it together. My staff of editors, writers, and photographers is amazing to collaborate with and have the unique ability to make bad days into good ones. Another great delight involved with my position is the advisement I receive from Bob Hanson. He is an incredible person with a devoted focus to my development as a leader and the incredible experience I’m getting here every day.

Away from the paper, I enjoy watching and participating in sports, playing video games and shopping for shoes.
