MATC is doing their part to help the community. Every year for the past 9 years, the MATC Child Care Centers sponsor the MATC Children’s Center Food Drive. After speaking with Carol Seaman, Director MATC Child Care Services, she gave information as to when the food drive occurs as well as where the food goes. The dates of the Food Drive are as follows for this year: Monday, March 21st through Thursday, April 7, with distribution to area pantries on Friday, April 8th.
Over 14,000 pounds of food have been collected in years past and shared with our community partners. The community partners are:Mequon- Family Sharing of Ozaukee County, Grafton
Milwaukee- House of Peace on 17th and Walnut, Milwaukee
Oak Creek (2 recipients)- Project Concern of Cudahy/St.Francis and Salvation Army of Oak Creek
West Allis- St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, West Allis.
