The men’s baseball team shakes hands with the Eagles from Illinois Valley Community College after a doubleheader on April 28. The men lost the first game with a score of 7-11, then bounced back and won the second game with a Mercy Rule score of 15-5.

The spring baseball season was a cool, wet season with many games cancelled or postponed. Their record for the season may be 6-39, but that is not a true reflection of the hard work and dedication shown by these young men. They fought hard every game and often made spectacular plays throughout the season. Their friends and family were at every home game, many times wrapped in blankets to keep warm, cheering them on.

The Stormers last home game win was April 28 during a doubleheader against Illinois Valley Community College. They lost the first game 7-11, but rallied in the second game, crushing the Eagles 15-5 in five innings.
