MATC’s talented Baking & Pastry Arts students created edible, hand-crafted works of art for the annual gingerbread competition. Student’s uniquely designed and built gingerbread houses were on display at the Milwaukee Public Market through December 14. Members of the public were able to vote on the People’s favorite and to bid on them as well with all the proceeds supporting MATC’s Baking & Pastry Arts program.
Members of the Wisconsin Bakers Association judged the houses and awarded cash prizes to five students on Wednesday, December 10.
The 2025 winners were:
People’s Choice Award: Kaydence Stone
First Place: Jasmin Estrada
Second Place: Starlyn Lerret
Third Place: Madison Beattie
Honorable Mentions: Bertha Hernandez and Shaylynn Ferguson.
