DON’T DRINK THE WATER IN THE H BUILDING.
A message was sent to all MATC employees and students from Marketing and Communications this afternoon (4/13). It stated:
“Effective immediately, water in the H Building at the Downtown Milwaukee Campus should not be digested, and individuals are encouraged to use restrooms in other campus buildings for toileting and hand-washing until further notice.
In an abundance of caution, students and staff definitely should not drink the water in H Building.
MATC’s risk and safety department is testing the lines and flushing them to clear air in the piping system. This process can cause discoloration, cloudiness and sputtering.
You will be updated once this process is completed, which could take a couple of days.”
