With numerous timeouts and a few missed shots, the Stormers men’s basketball team struggled to find its rhythm throughout the game Thursday night, ultimately falling to Parkland in the NJCAA Quarterfinal Round, 92-79.
Gaming Highlights
Even though the team struggled both offensively and defensively, several players still gave strong performances. Sophomore guard Jayden Hackett led with 24 points, 2 steals, 2 blocks, and
4 rebounds. Sophomore point guard Raydelh Boutin added 16 points, 1 steal, five assists, and 5 rebounds, and Sophomore guard/forward Jordan Jones contributed 13 points, 1 steal, and four rebounds.
This isn’t the end for the Stormers, as they will face Des Moines Area Community College in a Consolation match, tip-off starts today at 3:00 pm.
