Have you kept your resolution?

At the start of the New Year, there is a tradition to make a New Year’s resolution.  Some will keep it and others will fail.

It’s not always an easy thing for some to keep. There may be personal things that may get in the way or there may not be any self-motivation.

A list of common resolutions would be to learn something new, quit smoking or drinking, start eating more healthy, and picking up a new hobby.

There are some who say that their goal would be to stay healthy and fit and some would like to do well in school.

People often say they don’t really make resolutions because they have never kept them or know of others who haven’t.  What is a good way to change that?

Does that person make a resolution with a friend or family member so they both can support one another?

Or do they have a strong mind and have the power to achieve anything they set their mind to?

So start asking yourself or one another what is your New Year’s resolution, and start coming up with ideas of goals that you want to start achieving this year.

Also continue working on the goals that you already set for yourself at the beginning of the year.

These six students were asked this question, “What was your New Year’s resolution and have you kept it so far?”
