Sexual assault. It’s a hard topic for anyone to talk about, whether it’s happened to you or not. Most people think if you don’t talk about it, it doesn’t exist. But during college, it’s happening more often. Sexual assault is any type of sexual contact or behavior that occurs without the explicit consent of the recipient.Consent meaning an understood affirmative agreement, unless the person is substantially impaired. If someone is not sober, they cannot consent. Sexual assault does not only happen to women either, one in five women and one in 16 men are sexually assaulted while in college;  90% of these crimes on college campuses are never reported. Sexual assault does not only mean rape, it’s any form of unwanted touching or even behavior toward someone. We asked these students how would they define sexual assault.
