The Milwaukee Women’s Center was the beneficiary of an event sponsored by Wisconsin Schools of Oom Yung Doe. The school was celebrating World Tai Chi Day on Saturday, April 8, with Tai Chi movements and QI Gong breathing techniques from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.The event helped bring in monetary contributions to the Milwaukee Women’s Center shelter for battered and abused women. Besides any financial contributions the women’s shelter is asking for good clothing to help their recipients.
