She is no longer a silent victim

Armed with the voice of an angel, blessed with the passion of a thousand human interest activists, Canadian vocalist BronweN uses her music as an instrument to influence equality. Advocating for tolerance and non-violence awareness among high school students, BronweN also works as an artist ambassador for kids’ help phone, a 24-hour, toll-free hotline for Canadian youth.

This rock-goddess will slice through the mainstream music scene as we know it. Time will only tell her story. Emotional and raw, the sound speaks for itself. Her deep lyrics capture the heart and soul.

Demonstrating considerable talent, BronweN took third place in Sweet Basil’s talent Search Contest, September 2004, and had showcased herself as a finalist in FMA Vancouver 2006.

With the release of the album Silent Victim and more recently the video Eden on www.metacafe.com, the impact she is making will be tremendous.

When I spoke to this artist for an official statement about her music, she had this to say, “I believe everybody has the right to be themselves, and express themselves without being subjected to ridicule, harm or torture. I will fight for these rights until the day I die.”

As of late, she is also bringing her loving nature to the movie screen, in the upcoming film American Sunset, starring ’80s child actor Corey Haim.

Well there is no doubt; her heart is certainly in the right place. You can get a copy of her album online at cdbaby.com.
